THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING

Meeting are held the second Monday of each month at 7:00pm.  The public is invited.  All public meeting are held at the Forward Township Public Meeting Room at the Forward Township Municipal Building unless otherwise advertised in advance.

There is a Pubic Participation Policy

1) Sign in sheet.  All persons attending the meeting or desiring to address the Board of Supervisors must write your questions for agenda items only on a 3 x 5 card - unsigned available at the entrance of the Forward Township Meeting Room before the meeting begins.

2) Public Comment:

     a.  A public comment will be held during each regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors Meeting.  The public   
          shall be permitted to speak on any agenda matter prior to official action being taken once recognized by
          the Chairman of the board of Supervisors

     b.  All questions should be directed to the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors.

     c.  At the direction of the Board of Supervisors, additional comment periods may be permitted for non-agenda
          items

     d.  Only residents and taxpayers of Forward Township have the right to address the Forward Township Boad
          of Supervisors

     e.  Each speaker during the public comment period is limited to a period of not to exceed two (2) minutes.

     f.  The Chairman of the Board of Supervisors may rule out of order, scandalous, impertinent, and redundant
         comments or any other comment or conduct having the effect of disrupting or preventing the conduct of
         the business of the meeting.

3)  Cell phones and other electronic devices shall be turned off or vibrate during all public meetings.

4)  This Public Participation Policy shall be posted at the entrance of the Forward Township Public Meeting Room.

THE PLANNING COMMISSION

The five member planning commission meets on the first Monday of each month.

THE ZONING HEARING BOARD

The five member Zoning Boad meets upon demand.  A hearing becomes necessary when the Code Enforcement Officer determines a zoning request does not comply with existing guidelines and the affected party requests a review.
